Some changes from last years blog
- Photos now stored in Smugmug, all photo/video hyperlinks will be provided (they will be underlined)
- When viewing video clips allow some time for clips to load (10-15 seconds), you can monitor video download by watching grey status bar below video clip
- Video clips will short 60 seconds or less
- New tab on front page of blog called ‘Photo of the Day’. Use cursor to select ‘Home’ tab to return to blog home page, or select ‘Photo of the Day’ in column on right
West Coast National Park trip has been in planning stage for almost 2 years !

Leaving Gouldsboro May 1 returning June 25 … return date will be flexible

- Great Sand Dunes (Colorado)
- Arches (Utah)
- Capital Reef (Utah)
- Canyonlands (Utah)
- Bryce/Zion (Utah)
- Grand Canyon (Arizona / North Rim)
- Grand Tetons (Wyoming)
- Yellowstone (Wyoming)
- Badlands (South Dakota)
Statistics from AAA
- Total miles 5,700 miles (not counting any side trips)
- Drive time 91 hours
- Gallons of gas used 282 (calculated from Yellowstone to Gouldsboro and back)
- Cost of gas $1050 (calculated on April 23 gas prices)
